Уже который год весну мы, которые из Замкадья, встречаем всё в тех же снегах. Весной и не пахнет. Только в центре Москвы, где от энергии постоянно спешащих снег уже давно сошел, можно начинать искать запах весны. Меня совершенно не переполняет энтузиазм, когда уже 6 марта, а прогноз погоды на ближайшие три дня показывает растущие числа со знаком минус. Этому должен быть положен конец. Даёшь солнце и весенние ручейки!
* It's neither the first nor even the second year, when we, those, who're living off the Moscow ring road, meet spring and no snow's already gone. There's no smell of coming spring. It can be found only in the center of the city [Moscow], where energy from always hurrying people made snow melting long ago. It's 6 of March and temperature's keeping going below the zero. In such conditions, I have no enthusiasm. There should be an end put to this. Let there be sun and brooks!
